Downtown Youngstown design looks to me a ghost town bc of the construction. Free prkg and meter prkg has been eliminated as is affecting the area terribly. Whoever came up with the design were completely clueless as to what they were doing. I use to go to downtown circle to shop at least once a day. I have not been there in 2 months bc there is no prkg and if I want to park for 10 minutes I have to pay and walk quite a ways, well no ty. What a mess. It also seems that everything done is done with the college in mind as if it is all that matters. Another 12 million has been allocated to the college yet I have not heard of any money being allocated for all the displaced tenants and the loss of all there belongings. All of this needs to be addressed and soon. That is my thought on the mess created. Smh, it's a real mess! Oh yes I forgot to mention all the road patchwork! There is money to fix the roads but it's patchwork on top of patchwork and the roads are are a disgrace. Along with the horrible roads are horrible and dangerous drivers who all day every run red lights without hesitation. Take that 12 million that the college does not need and put cameras up to stop these horrible drivers and also to fix the patchwork roads. A lot of money is being spent on a project that is taking away business not bringing business. A thorough investigation needs to be done into all of this. More millions have just been announced that will be available. Where is that money gng besides to the college?
